We are Responsible Human Beings who provide unconditionally loving service in the style of the Kahuna Priests of the ancient Mo'o tradition in Hawai'i.
Our lineage has been passed down without a break from very ancient times in the form of formal ordinations that recognize our priesthood authority.
Lono Ho'ala, our priesthood leader was ordained in Hawai'i by the Mo'o in 1992. He, in turn, ordains us. This creates a powerful spiritual link between ourselves and our ancestors.
We teach an ancient system of wisdom that leads to Enlightenment. We call this system Ho'ala Huna - Hawai'ian words that mean:
"That which causes an awakening to the sacred awareness of Reality."
We ask only that those who are interested listen with an open mind, and that this Message be properly honored for what it can give to our world.
We do not want belief. Our Message is far bigger than that. We teach that
"Belief is necessary only for that which is not Real. That which is Real can be Recognized - and it works, reliably and flawlessly!
Because our Message is Real its truth is Self-Evident. In this way it is just like the Principles enumerated in the Declaration of Independence that form the spiritual foundation of the United States of America. Principles like these require no belief - only honor.
As was true anciently, our message of Ho'ala Huna contains the skills and perspectives that lead to "Ka Hana Pono", Hawai'ian words that mean "To live in harmony or balance with Reality."
We do this work because we have discovered the power of Ho'ala Huna to help us see what is Real about ourselves and our world. For us, this desire to stand in Harmony with Reality is the most powerful way to Live because it supports us to be the most Responsible/Loving human beings we can be.
While we freely acknowledge that every person is on a path that will unfailingly lead them to Enlightenment, we honor Ho'ala Huna as one of the clearest paths to Enlightenment that exists, and we honor it for the gifts it bestows in our lives, as well as the lives of those with whom we share its most sacred Message. |
